Youth Contest Featured on 10 11 News

KOLN/KGIN, Lincoln’s 10 11 News, presented “Our Town Norfolk” during the week of December 10th.  One of the stories featured last year’s Jefferson 3rd Grade students and teacher Mandy Wolff who participated in the Youth Philanthropy contest.

The Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska is hosting the 2nd Annual Celebrate Giving! on February 23, 2013 at the DeVent Center in Norfolk.

This unique event will honor the recipients of the 2013 Philanthropy Awards as well as celebrate the winners of the 2013 Youth Philanthropy Contest.  We are looking forward to bringing the community together to highlight the power of giving and leaving a legacy.

Youth Contest Wins State-Wide Recognition

 

Kara Weander-Gaster, Sarah Dittmer, Lesley Hanson, Tammy Day and Betty Froehlich of the Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska accept the 2012 Outstanding Youth Philanthropy Award presented by the Nebraska Chapter of the Association of Professional Fundraisers. The award is a framed collection of stamps representative of the Council’s Youth Philanthropy Contest.
