Community Embraces Philanthropy contest

If you missed the Youth Philanthropy Event on February 1, check out this article to learn more about a few exciting changes for this year.  And remember, Youth Philanthropy projects that weren’t selected as winners still have a chance to receiving funding this Saturday, February 15 at Celebrate Giving!

Youth Contest Winners Announced!

There were 26 terrific projects submitted to the Youth Philanthropy Contest this year. The judges had a tough time selecting only ten, but the winners were announced this past Saturday.

Remember that the projects that weren’t selected have a second chance at securing funding at Celebrate Giving! on February 15.

I Finished My Youth Contest Application – Now What?

Project application and displays can be dropped off at the Lifelong Learning Center on the campus of Northeast Community College on Friday, January 31st from 6 – 8 p.m. or on Saturday, February 1st from 9 a.m. – noon.

When you drop off your projects, a committee member will check through all your paperwork and then escort you to a table where you can set up your project display for judging.

Winners will be announced at the Youth and Family Event at the Lifelong Learning Center on Saturday, February 1st from 4 -6 p.m.
