This dedicated 4-H Club purchased books and donated them to Heritage of Bel Air Skilled Care Facility. The young people then spent an afternoon at the nursing home reading books with the residents and baking cookies. “We found out that nothing beats sharing books (and warm gooey cookies),” reported project director Angie Skiff. “This is just such an awesome experience and we are thankful that it exists here in Norfolk. It is a wonderful way to teach our kids about the values of giving.”
