Ana wanted to support the youth and their parents at the Norfolk Rescue Mission as they reconnect and strengthen their relationships.  She provided totes for the youth with age-appropriate activities for them to do by themselves.  She also included a gift card so that youth and their parents could enjoy an activity together as they support each other and the positive changes that are happening in their lives.  Ana learned that she could “take an idea and make it happen to make a difference.”

Her project was funded by Nucor Steel.
