Mission: To facilitate communication, education and access to information through partnerships with area libraries, school media centers, library trustees, advocates and their communities.

What We Do: We provide support services and professional development opportunities for librarians in northeast Nebraska.

Area Served: 20 counties in northeast Nebraska, which is approximately 13,000 square miles and about 200,000 people.

How We Are Governed: 13 Board members are elected for 3-year terms by our general membership which includes all public, school, special, institutional and academic librarians in our 20-county region.

I. Unrestricted – Fixed Cash Amount

I leave dollars ($ . ) to the Northeast Library System, a Nebraska nonprofit corporation with headquarters in Columbus, Nebraska. The Northeast Library System may use this money for any educational or charitable purpose that the Board of Directors considers appropriate.

II. Unrestricted – Share of Residue of Donor’s Estate

I leave percent ( %) of the residue of my estate to the Northeast Library System, a Nebraska nonprofit corporation with headquarters in Columbus, Nebraska. The Northeast Library System may use this money for any educational or charitable purpose that the Board of Directors considers appropriate.
