Mission: The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
What We Do: The Red Cross provides disaster response in the form of food, clothing, shelter, comfort and care. The Red Cross provides training in CPR/First Aid, AED’s, Babysitter Training, Lifeguard training, water safety, Pet First Aid, and others as well as community training for disaster preparedness and response.
Area Served: The Northeast Nebraska Chapter serves nine counties (Madison, Stanton, Pierce, Wayne, Cuming, Knox, Cedar, Dixon and Thurston) with an approximate population of 100,000.
Our Wish List: The Red Cross is supported solely through generous donors and supporters.
