Mission: To provide funding for the addition of special items that will enhance both the collection and the services of the Norfolk Public Library.

What We Do: We continue to raise funds for our endowment, utilizing the interest income to give supplemental funds to the public library for special programming and services.  The Library Foundation supports the Norfolk Public Library’s Annual Literature Festival and the “Start Making A Reader Today” program that provides literacy materials to all babies born at Faith Regional Hospital along with many other special projects.

Area Served: Although the Norfolk Public Library primarily serves the residents of Norfolk, more than 25% of library users are from outside of the Norfolk city limits.
