May 2014 Update: The Montessori Third Grade class, led by teacher Julie Shoemaker, purchased, packaged and delivered their Baskets of Joy to the elderly at Skyview Villa.  The baskets were full of items that the residents can use on a daily basis.  Students at the Montessori Elementary school visit Skyview Villa on a regular basis.  “They give the kids joy.  We want to give them joy by giving the baskets,” said Mrs. Shoemaker.
